I am an English as a Foreign Language teacher from the United States. I am certified by the Secretaría de Educación Pública (SEP - Secretary of Public Education) to teach English as a Foreign Language.
My training was obtained in September, 2010 through a very intensive course offered by the International Teacher Training Organization (ITTO) in Guadalajara, Mexico. I received a pass Grade with Distinction upon graduation from the course. A Grade with Distinction means I received over a 9.5 grade average (out of 10).
In October, I received an additional certification in Teaching Business English and am qualified to assist businesspersons in passing the TOEFL, TOEIC, BEC (BUSINESS ENGLISH CERTIFICATE), TKT (TEACHING KNOWLEDGE TEST), and IELTS, thus increasing their career options as well as earning ability.
Among my Teaching English as a Foreign Language skills are:

- Ability to tailor my teaching to each individual student. No two students are the same!

I am a patient and motivational teacher and my students have fun learning. I want to see each of my students successfully learn English so they may improve their career options as well as giving them the tools to meet their dreams. I believe that by knowing a second language (particularly English), a student can increase their chances of success in the future. Students can obtain better jobs with higher income. Besides career and financial gain, individuals who know a second language are able to travel to more places in the world.
I want my students to feel empowered and I want them to enjoy the learning process. Learning a second language can be difficult. My goal is to alleviate that stress and guide my students on the path of learning English.
